Baseball Recap: Hurricane Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

While Hurricane's win against Riverside wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Redskins won by a run and slipped past the Warriors 2-1. That's two games straight that the Redskins have won by just one run.

The victory (which was Hurricane's third in a row) raised their record to 9-2. As for Riverside, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-6 record.

Looking ahead, Hurricane will square off against Urbana at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Hawks' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Redskins' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Riverside, they are taking a road trip to square off against South Charleston at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
