Basketball Recap: Central DeWitt Comes Up Short

Central DeWitt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Pleasant Valley Spartans, falling 61-41. If Central DeWitt was looking for revenge after losing 63-60 to Pleasant Valley when the teams met back in January, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Central DeWitt's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Pleasant Valley, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Central DeWitt and Assumption will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pleasant Valley has already played their next contest (against Central Clinton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
