Softball Game Preview: South Cameron Tarpons vs. Evans Eagles

For the second straight game, South Cameron will face off against Evans. The Tarpons will face off against the Eagles on Saturday. South Cameron has given up an average of 10.7 runs per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

South Cameron fell victim to Evans and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 15-0. The match marked the first time this year in which the Tarpons were not able to get on the board.

South Cameron saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was BreAnn Morales, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. Morales is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games she's played.

Evans' victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-12. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for South Cameron, they moved to 8-10 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
