Volleyball Game Preview: Hatley Tigers vs. Walnut Wildcats

Hatley is 0-6 against Walnut since September of 2023 but things could change on Monday. The Tigers are taking a road trip to challenge the Wildcats. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Hatley comes in on four and Walnut on 12.

Hatley is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They skirted past Hamilton 3-2. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Meanwhile, Walnut faced East Union in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Wildcats came out on top against the Urchins by a score of 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-17, 18-25, 25-19, 25-17.

Hatley's win bumped their record up to 17-15. As for Walnut, their victory bumped their record up to 34-3-1.

Hatley suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Walnut in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
