Softball Recap: Fairfield Takes a Loss

Fairfield lost against Chariton back in June of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Trojans took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chargers. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fairfield's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Chariton, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 7-3.

Fairfield has already played their next match, a 7-1 victory against Mt. Pleasant on the 14th. Chariton has also already played their next game (against Van Buren County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
