Basketball Recap: Midlakes Comes Up Short

Midlakes lost against Penn Yan Academy back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Midlakes Screaming Eagles fell 37-27 to the Penn Yan Academy Mustangs. The Screaming Eagles' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Midlakes' loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Penn Yan Academy, their win bumped their record up to 9-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Midlakes will welcome Lyons at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Lyons will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Midlakes surely won't give up without a fight. As for Penn Yan Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mynderse Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Penn Yan Academy is facing Mynderse Academy at the right time seeing as Mynderse Academy is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
