Basketball Recap: Saltillo Takes a Loss

Saltillo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They fell 56-43 to the Center Hill Mustangs. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 56-41 back in January.

Karol Key had a dynamite game for Center Hill, going 6 for 8 on her way to 17 points and six boards. Those 17 points gave Key a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kennedy Hulbert, who posted 13 points and five assists.

Saltillo's loss dropped their record down to 4-22. As for Center Hill, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-16.

As of now, neither Saltillo nor Center Hill have any future games scheduled.
