Basketball Game Preview: Sartell-St. Stephen Sabres vs. Apollo Eagles

The Sartell-St. Stephen Sabres will take on the Apollo Eagles at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Tuesday, Sartell-St. Stephen came up short against Bemidji and fell 67-55. The Sabres have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Apollo lost 94-71 to Sauk Rapids-Rice on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 181st, while the Storm are ranked 29th).

Sartell-St. Stephen's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Apollo, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.
