Volleyball Recap: Aspermont Takes a Loss

Aspermont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Childress Bobcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hornets of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-10.

Journey Prince was the offensive standout of the game as she had eight kills, three digs, and one block.

Aspermont's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Childress, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Aspermont will head out to challenge Merkel at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, Childress and Vernon will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
