Plano West waltzed into their matchup on Friday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. Everything went their way against the Plano Wildcats as they made off with a 3-0 win. This was a revenge game for the Wolves: when they faced off against the Wildcats back in September, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

Plano West walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-19, 25-20, 25-15.

Despite the defeat, Plano saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Bella Osborn had 16 digs and three aces. Osborn is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 16 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Plano West's win bumped their record up to 24-4. As for Plano, their loss dropped their record down to 24-9.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Plano West will challenge rival McKinney at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Plano is set to square off against their familiar foe Prosper at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
