            Softball Recap: Tri-Valley Vikings vs. Paxton-Buckley-Loda Panthers        
        
		
        
        
            While Tri-Valley put up plenty of  runs on Tuesday, the same  can't be said for Paxton-Buckley-Loda. The Vikings blew past the Panthers 14-0. That looming  14-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Vikings yet this  season.
 Gretchen Wyant made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only two  hits over five innings pitched. Wyant was also big at the plate,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with one  triple, one  run,  and one  RBI. That  triple marked the first that  she has  hit this season.

 In other batting news,  Molly Vandiver was  incredible,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and one  triple. Those  four  RBI gave  her a new career-high.  Alex Jones was another key player,  going 1-for-2 with two  runs, two  RBI,  and one  double.
 Tri-Valley was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .385. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Paxton-Buckley-Loda only posted a  batting average of  .176.
Tri-Valley is  on a roll lately: they've  won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4-1 record  this season. As for Paxton-Buckley-Loda,  they are  on  an  11-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-19.
 Tri-Valley wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  contest,  a  12-1  victory against Armstrong on the 7th. As for Paxton-Buckley-Loda, they have also already played their next game,  a  10-0  loss against Pontiac on the 8th.
