Soccer Game Preview: East Burke vs. Patton

East Burke is 0-9-1 against Patton since February of 2021 but things could change on Monday. The Cavaliers will head out on the road to challenge the Panthers at 6:00 p.m.

East Burke is looking to pick up the season's first win, something they couldn't quite do against Draughn on Wednesday. Neither the Cavaliers nor the Wildcats could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, Patton entered their tilt with Chase on Wednesday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. They never let the Trojans get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. Considering Patton have won ten matchups by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

East Burke's draw makes their record 0-12-1 this season. As for Patton, their victory bumped their record up to 12-1-2.

East Burke suffered a grim 9-0 defeat to Patton in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Cavaliers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
