Volleyball Recap: Kingstree Takes a Loss

Kingstree was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Mullins Auctioneers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Auctioneers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

Kingstree took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 21-25, 16-25, 25-10, 15-10.

Kingstree's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Mullins, the win snapped their losing streak at five matches and leaves them with a 3-11 record.

Looking ahead, Kingstree will face off against Atlantic Collegiate Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mullins does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
