Carolina Friends headed into their last game having not scored more than one goal for three straight, but Cristo Rey Research Triangle let them put that streak behind them. Carolina Friends' defense stepped up to hand Cristo Rey Research Triangle a 4-0 shutout on Friday. It was an even better day for Belle Bolick as she scored three goals for her team.

Meanwhile, Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Friendship Christian.

Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Carolina Friends, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
