Football Game Preview: Scurry-Rosser Wildcats vs. Inspired Vision EAGLES

The Scurry-Rosser Wildcats will face off against the Inspired Vision EAGLES at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Inspired Vision took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Scurry-Rosser, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, everything came up roses for Scurry-Rosser against Gateway Charter Academy as the team secured a 46-12 victory. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Gators: they've now won six in a row.

Scurry-Rosser didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Corbin Hoard and Caleb Peavy. Scurry-Rosser received some extra help from Hoard, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Meanwhile, Inspired Vision was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 35-18 to Rice. On the bright side, the 18- point effort marked the EAGLES' highest-scoring contest to date.

Scurry-Rosser's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Inspired Vision, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Everything came up roses for Scurry-Rosser against Inspired Vision in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 51-0 win. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the EAGLES have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
