Volleyball Recap: Cayuga Comes Up Short

Cayuga was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lufkin Panthers.

Cayuga's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Lufkin, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.

Cayuga has already played their next match (against Frost), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lufkin also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Pantego Christian.
