Volleyball Recap: Murphy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against LeFlore last Tuesday, Murphy came back down to earth. The Panthers came up short against the Faith Academy Rams on Monday, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-2, 25-9, 25-4.

Faith Academy found their leader in sophomore Kyleigh Grosz, who had four digs and four aces.

Murphy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Faith Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won 13 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.

Murphy has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Rain on the 30th. As for Faith Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Vigor on the 30th.
