Gregori and Enochs are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2021, but likely not for long. The Gregori Jaguars will host the Enochs Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Gregori is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.
Last Tuesday, Gregori beat Turlock 9-6. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Jaguars.

Kaliyah Mauia and Angelina Hoffman did most of the damage at the plate: Mauia went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double, while Hoffman scored two runs while going 2-for-3. Those three hits gave Mauia a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Audrey Pacheco, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4.
Enochs not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 23, 2024. Everything went their way against Pitman as Enochs made off with a 7-1 win. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Pride recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.
Kaylee Ruiz spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up seven Ks. Those seven strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.
On the hitting side, Gabriela Alvarez was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season. Audrey Sayers was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.
Enochs hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most three strikeouts in five consecutive contests.
Gregori pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Enochs, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Enochs' pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Gregori has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.7 hits per game. It's a different story for Enochs, though, as they've been averaging 9.3 hits. Given Gregori's sizable advantage in that area, Enochs will need to find a way to close that gap.
