Volleyball Recap: Maycie East Key Part of Team Effort in Titans Win

Frontier won the last time they faced Garces Memorial and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Titans came out on top against the Rams by a score of 3-1.

Frontier had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-22, 29-27, 25-20.

Frontier's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Maycie East, who had 13 digs. Those 13 digs gave East a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Laykinn Cash, who had 12 digs.

Frontier was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in six consecutive matchups.

Despite the loss, Garces Memorial still got an impressive performance from Abigail Menta, who had eight digs.

Frontier is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-12 record this season.
