Soccer Recap: Riverside Christian Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Prescott

Riverside Christian faced Prescott in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Crusaders fell 3-1 to the Tigers. Riverside Christian were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Prescott earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Riverside Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Prescott, the victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 3-8.

Coincidentally, Riverside Christian and Prescott will both be playing St. George's the next time they take the pitch. The Crusaders will head out to face the Dragons at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Tigers will head out to face them at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
