Football Recap: Waukegan Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Waukegan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Lake Zurich Bears 48-0. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 439th, while the Bears are ranked 49th).

Waukegan's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Lake Zurich, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Waukegan is set to face off against their familiar foe Warren Township at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Lake Zurich will square off against rival Libertyville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
