Softball Recap: Mountain Range Mustangs vs. Prairie View Thunderhawks
Mountain Range was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 12-7 to the Prairie View Thunderhawks. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Thunderhawks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September.
Shawn Lee and Analia Castaneda did some serious damage despite the final result: Lee went 2-for-2 with two RBI and a double, while Castaneda scored a run while going 2-for-4. What's more, Lee also racked up no strikeouts, the fewestshe's had since back in August. Another player making a difference was Omari Salazar-Rodriguez, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.
Mountain Range's loss dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Prairie View, the win snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 9-14 record.
As of now, neither Mountain Range nor Prairie View have any future games scheduled.
