Basketball Game Preview: Big Bear Bears vs. Rim of the World Fighting Scots + How To Watch

The Big Bear Bears will face off against the Rim of the World Fighting Scots at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Big Bear took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They secured a 79-75 W over Ramona.

Savion Sorapuru had a dynamite game, dropping a double-double with 30 points and 12 rebounds. Those 30 points gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Barden, who almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine boards.

Meanwhile, Rim of the World came up short against Jurupa Valley on Tuesday and fell 65-58. The Fighting Scots haven't had much luck with the Jaguars recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Big Bear will have to contain Gilbert Banuelos as he made an impact in Rim of the World's last game. He dropped a double-double with 25 points and 18 rebounds. Banuelos is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down nine or more in each of the last three games he's played dating back to last season. Tom Krzeminski was another key player, putting up nine points.

Big Bear strolled past Rim of the World in their previous matchup back in November of 2024 by a score of 71-56. Do the Bears have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Fighting Scots turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
