Duncan is a perfect 10-0 against Altus since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Demons are taking a road trip to face off against the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. Altus took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Duncan, who comes in off a win.

Duncan's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past MacArthur 15-0. Considering the Demons have won 15 games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Altus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 12-10 heartbreaker at the hands of Cache. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat Altus has suffered since March 20, 2024.

Jack Owenby made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. Those stolen bases marked the first that he snagged this season.

Duncan pushed their record up to 20-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Altus, their loss dropped their record down to 10-9.

Duncan took their win against Altus in their previous meeting back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 17-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Demons since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
