Soccer Recap: Stockbridge Takes a Loss

Stockbridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Quincy Orioles, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Stockbridge can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 423rd, while Quincy are ranked 203rd).

Stockbridge's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Quincy, they pushed their record up to 10-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Stockbridge will face off against Bronson at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Stockbridge will be up against Bronson's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.7 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Quincy, they have already played their next game, a 1-0 defeat against Sturgis on the 3rd.
