Softball Recap: Albany Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Albany's offense. They came up short against the Salesian College Preparatory Pride on Wednesday, falling 11-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Pride: they've now lost eight in a row.

Albany saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Valeria Trujillo, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. Anya Fox also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Albany's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Salesian College Preparatory, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-2.
