Football Recap: Rutland Takes Down Mount Anthony in a Playoff Battle + How To Watch

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Rutland walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Mount Anthony Patriots on Friday as they made off with a 32-7 win. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Grady Gallagher was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 122 yards and two scores on only 14 carries. That's the most rushing touchdowns he has posted since back in October of 2024.

Gallagher was just one part of a punishing run game: Rutland was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 204 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mount Anthony only rushed for 106.

Rutland's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Mount Anthony, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Rutland nor Mount Anthony have any future games scheduled.
