Big game from Santos Jr as Lafayette won 67-63
While Wednesday's victory was certainly a team effort, someone pulling more than their own weight was underclassman Wayne Santos Jr. On Wednesday he was dialed in and scored 14 points along with two steals. He played a big game the last time he faced Grafton, so the team probably should've seen him coming.
Santos Jr and Lafayette will head out on the road to challenge the Islanders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Santos Jr will face off against Dayne Galacgac, Poquoson's star point guard. Will Santos Jr turn in another gem to overcome Lafayette? We'll have our answer very soon.
