Softball Game Preview: Independence Mustangs vs. Solon Spartans

Independence hasn't had much luck against Solon recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Mustangs will welcome the Spartans at 5:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Independence is headed into Monday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Thursday. They lost 15-1 to Williamsburg.

Meanwhile, Solon came up short against Mt. Vernon on Thursday and fell 10-6. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Independence's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Solon, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
