Baseball Recap: Bridgeton Takes a Loss

Bridgeton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 18-6 to the Cape May County Tech Hawks. On the bright side, the six- run effort marked the Bulldogs' highest-scoring game to date.

Bridgeton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Cape May County Tech, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Coincidentally, Bridgeton and Cape May County Tech will both be playing Wildwood Catholic the next time they take the field. The Bulldogs will host the Crusaders at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Hawks will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on April 14.
