Cheney had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. Everything went their way against the Ferris Saxons as they made off with a 5-2 victory. For Cheney, this counts as revenge for the 4-2 win Ferris walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Cheney pushed their record up to 5-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those three contests. As for Ferris, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
