Giles is a perfect 10-0 against Narrows since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Spartans will square off against the Green Waves at 7:00 p.m.

Having struggled with five defeats in a row, Giles turned things around against Fort Chiswell on Wednesday. Neither they nor the Pioneers could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. The result was nothing new for Giles as the team haven't won a game since April 14th.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Narrows' offense. They came up short against Eastern Montgomery on Thursday, falling 7-0. Narrows have struggled against Eastern Montgomery recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

Giles' draw gives them a new season record of 3-7-1. As for Narrows, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6-1.

Everything went Giles' way against Narrows when the teams last played back in March, as Giles made off with an 8-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Spartans since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
