It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but La Cueva had no problem doing just that on Friday. They never let the Organ Mountain Knights get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The victory was nothing new for the Bears as they're now sitting on 20 straight.

Liliana Montoya made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 20 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, firing off two home runs and three RBI while going 3-for-3.

Montoya wasn't the only one making solid contact as six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Alex Fox, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Another was Maxx Cordero, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

La Cueva hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least two batters in nine consecutive matches.

La Cueva pushed their record up to 24-3 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.4 runs over those games. As for Organ Mountain, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-13-1.

As of now, neither La Cueva nor the Knights have any future games scheduled.
