Basketball Recap: Ola Comes Up Short

Ola lost against Locust Grove two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Ola Mustangs took a 97-88 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Locust Grove Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 302nd, while the Wildcats are ranked 140th).

Ola has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost 13 of their last 16 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-17 record this season. As for Locust Grove, they pushed their record up to 17-9 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

As of now, neither Ola nor Locust Grove have any future games scheduled.
