Recap: Americas Trail Blazers vs. Socorro Bulldogs

In what's become a running theme this season, the Americas Trail Blazers gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They blew past Socorro 56-31. Winning may never get old, but Americas sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.

AIDEN MARQUEZ was his usual excellent self, scoring 14 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was CHRISTIAN BACA, who scored five points along with six assists and five rebounds.

Socorro lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Esteban Erives, who scored nine points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kris Fang, who scored seven points.

Socorro struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Americas pulled down 16 offensive rebounds.

Americas pushed their record up to 27-3 with that victory, which was their 15th straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.7 points per game. As for Socorro, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-15 record this season.

Coincidentally, Americas and Socorro will both be playing Montwood the next time they take the court. Americas will host Montwood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Socorro will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
