Franklin Road Christian strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They strolled past the Riverside Christian Academy Knights with points to spare, taking the game 52-37. The Minutemen have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Knights, too.

Leading Franklin Road Christian to victory were Bryleigh Dempsey and Lakelyn Dempsey. Bryleigh went 8-for-15 en route to 20 points and five steals, while Lakelyn dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten steals. Bryleigh has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 22 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Caraline Brian, who shot 71% from the field on her way to 10 points and seven boards.

Franklin Road Christian's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Riverside Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Franklin Road Christian and Riverside Christian Academy will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Minutemen see the court they'll take on Boyd Christian at 6:00 p.m. on the 18th.
