Softball Recap: Lincoln County Find Success

Lincoln County's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the New Hope Indians 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Falcons have posted since March 29, 2024.

Lincoln County saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brinley Moran, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. That stolen base marked the first that Moran snagged this season.

Lincoln County hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most two strikeouts in three consecutive matchups.

The win got Lincoln County back to even at 2-2. As for New Hope, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-12-1.

Lincoln County has already played their next contest, a 5-2 victory against American Christian Academy on the 12th. As for New Hope, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 4-1 win against Brentwood Academy on the 11th.
