Softball Recap: Wellborn Takes a Loss

After soaring to 13 runs the game before, Wellborn was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They lost 13-2 to the Jacksonville Golden Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-2 back in February.

Wellborn's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Jacksonville, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-8.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Wellborn Panthers face off against Talladega Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Jacksonville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Munford at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
