Soccer Recap: American Leadership Academy-Johnston Takes a Loss

American Leadership Academy-Johnston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the Neuse Charter Cougars, falling 8-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-1 two weeks ago.

American Leadership Academy-Johnston's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Neuse Charter, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. American Leadership Academy-Johnston will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on East Chapel Hill at 6:30 p.m. on March 24th. As for Neuse Charter, they will square off against North Duplin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Neuse Charter's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
