Softball Game Preview: Birdville Hawks vs. South Grand Prairie Warriors

The Birdville Hawks will be taking part in a tournament against the South Grand Prairie Warriors at 10:45 a.m. on Thursday. Birdville will be strutting in after a victory while South Grand Prairie will be coming in after a loss.

Birdville is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Bell a 7-0 shutout.

Meanwhile, South Grand Prairie suffered their biggest defeat since February 23, 2024 on Monday. They came up short against Midlothian, falling 11-1.

Birdville came out on top in a nail-biter against South Grand Prairie in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, sneaking past 2-0. Will Birdville repeat their success, or does South Grand Prairie have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
