Permian has gone 10-0 against Midland Legacy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Permian Panthers will challenge the Midland Legacy Rebels at 7:30 p.m. Permian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Midland Legacy likes a good challenge.

Permian is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Frenship just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 66-56 to the Tigers.

Meanwhile, Midland Legacy's game on Friday was all tied up 32-32 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 70-65 hit to the loss column at the hands of Odessa. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Rebels came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 273rd, while the Bronchos are ranked 625th).

Midland Legacy is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-11. As for Permian, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 19-9.

Everything went Permian's way against Midland Legacy when the teams last played two weeks ago, as Permian made off with a 64-38 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Permian since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
