Plattsmouth came out on top against Lexington on Friday thanks in part to Bradin Vanwinkle's efforts. Vanwinkle threw for 128 yards and two TDs while completing 72.7% of his passes, and also punched in one score on the ground. The effort marked the most passing touchdowns he has had since back in August of 2024.

Vanwinkle and Plattsmouth will face off against Gretna East at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will pit Vanwinkle up against the Griffins' star QB Tillman Melsheimer.
