Soccer Recap: Aquinas Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Aquinas can now relate to. They lost 10-0 to the Wesleyan Wolves on Thursday. While losing is never fun, Aquinas can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 160th, while Wesleyan are ranked 16th).

Aquinas' defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Wesleyan, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-1.

Aquinas does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wesleyan, they have already played their next contest, a 6-0 victory against Trinity Christian on the 4th.
