Basketball Recap: Arickaree Skates Past Hi-Plains with Ease

There's no place like home for Arickaree, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 67-16 win over the Hi-Plains Patriots. The match marked the Bison's most dominant victory of the season so far.

Arickaree's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jake King led the charge by putting up 13 points and six boards. King has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Zarron Skubal was another key player, going 7 for 12 on his way to 14 points and seven rebounds.

Arickaree was working as a unit and finished the game with 23 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Arickaree's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Hi-Plains, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Arickaree will welcome Bethune at 7:00 p.m. on January 24th. As for Hi-Plains, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 63-37 defeat against Cheylin on the 21st.
