Soccer Game Preview: Sierra Linda vs. Copper Canyon

The Sierra Linda Bulldogs will venture away from home to face off against the Copper Canyon Aztecs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Copper Canyon took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Sierra Linda, who comes in off a win.

Sierra Linda took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They never let Central onto the board and left with a 3-0 victory. The game marked the Bulldogs' most dominant win of the season.

Meanwhile, Copper Canyon didn't have quite enough to beat Glendale on Wednesday and fell 2-1.

Sierra Linda moved to 5-6-2 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Copper Canyon, they now have a losing record at 4-5-1.

Sierra Linda suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Copper Canyon in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. Can Sierra Linda avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
