Football Recap: Calhoun Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Calhoun's offense. They took a blow against the Highland Home Flying Squadron on Friday, falling 42-0. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Flying Squadron recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Brody Phillips had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 129 yards and four scores on only seven carries, while also picking up 42 receiving yards for Highland Home. Those four rushing touchdowns gave Phillips a new career-high.

Calhoun's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Highland Home, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-5.

Coming up, Calhoun will welcome Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will be up against the Lions' rather soft defense (which has allowed 44.78 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Highland Home does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
