Soccer Recap: Queen Creek Takes a Loss

Queen Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Gilbert Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona soccer rankings (they are ranked 125th, while the Tigers are ranked 19th).

Queen Creek's loss dropped their record down to 3-6-1. As for Gilbert, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6-2 record this season.

Queen Creek didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 4-0 defeat against Williams Field on the 3rd. As for Gilbert, they have also already played their next contest, an 8-1 victory against Higley on the 3rd.
