Softball Recap: Nottoway Takes a Loss

If Nottoway was riding high fresh off their 25-7 takedown of Rappahannock County on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cougars lost 10-4 to the St. Catherine's Saints on Saturday.

Nottoway's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for St. Catherine's, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1.

Nottoway will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Amelia County at 7:00 p.m. on the 8th. This will be the Cougars' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for St. Catherine's, they will square off against Christchurch School at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
