Preview: Achievement First Providence Falcons vs. Blackstone Valley Prep PRIDE
The Achievement First Providence Falcons will head out on the road to face off against the Blackstone Valley Prep PRIDE at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Achievement First Providence focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 on Tuesday.
Achievement First Providence had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They had to suffer through a rough 59-32 loss at the hands of Mount St. Charles Academy. Achievement First Providence was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-11.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Fred Browne, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Joshia Dickson, who scored five points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Blackstone Valley Prep humbled Scituate with a 67-36 victory. The win made it back-to-back wins for Blackstone Valley Prep.
Achievement First Providence's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Blackstone Valley Prep, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
