Rashad Dockery Delivers Electric Performance Vs Purnell Swett
Starting off the list is South View's Rashad Dockery, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Dockery rushed for 202 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 10.1 yards per carry, and also picked up 35 receiving yards.
The win was the third in a row for South View, bringing their record for this year to 5-2. Dockery and South View will head out to take on Gray's Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Reed Posts Huge Game in 28-24 Win
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Ezekiel Reed stepped things up a notch to give Gray's Creek the 'W'. Reed turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 221 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.5 yards per carry.
Lumberton had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Reed it was a similar story. Reed rushed for 155 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.2 yards per carry the last time he and the Pirates duked it out back in October of 2023.

Seventy-First Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Donavan Frederick
Donavan Frederick's big game helped extend Seventy-First's winning streak to seven on Friday. Frederick turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 65 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.
Seventy-First pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Frederick and Seventy-First will look to defend their home field on Friday against Purnell Swett at 7:30 p.m.

Deandre Nance Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Deandre Nance was instrumental in extending Seventy-First's winning streak to seven on Friday. Nance was excellent, rushing for 113 yards on only 11 carries, while also throwing for 151 yards and a touchdown on only 12 passes. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (100.1).
If history really does repeat itself, Nance might just drop another big game when he faces off against Purnell Swett on Friday. When Nance last faced the Rams back in October of 2023, he rushed for 73 yards and three touchdowns on only five carries, and also threw for 65 yards and a touchdown.

Bryan Charles produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Cape Fear to the win on Friday. Charles picked up two sacks and made ten total tackles (3.0 for loss).
Charles is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Jack Britt on Friday. When Charles last faced the Buccaneers back in October of 2023, he picked up two sacks, forced a fumble, and made ten total tackles (3.0 for loss).
